We search deep underground and inside newly constructed storm water drains and sewers. We identify issues, structural defects and problematic service conditions not previously uncovered, or not found until it’s far too late…generally months, even years after tenant occupancy and long after the final financial settlement of construction costs and release of builder’s retention funds has passed hands.
We then report back on any defects or damage that might cause future problems, grading everything using our risk rating analysis system.
At a recent development we discovered one sewer pipe underneath an en-suite bathroom was half full of concrete, so the developer had to jack hammer the new bathroom floor to access and replace that section of pipe. Once any repair work is complete, we can go back to independently verify the work by doing a complete 2nd inspection with new video or photos, all time and date stamped. This is necessary in the event of a potential dispute or if legal action is required against the developer or builder.
